Guests:

Jonathan Moules

Jonathan Moules Journalist, Financial Times

Claire MacDonald

Claire MacDonald Director, MacMartin

In 2017, Claire McDonald founded advertising agency MacMartin with her sister Anna. Prior to founding the business, both women struggled juggling childcare with their full-time jobs in marketing. MacMartin has offered Claire flexibility and a rapidly growing business but she has also had to come to terms with mother’s guilt and imposter syndrome.

In this episode, Claire talks about the importance of finding your own lane in a family-founded business, managing rapid growth, and how looking for help outside of the business can often be the catalyst for that growth.
