Podcast: Work when, where, and how you want

Guests:

Jonathan Moules

Jonathan Moules Journalist, Financial Times

Brad Walker

Brad Walker Director, Adaptive Accountancy

Brad Walker is the founder and Director of Yorkshire-based accountancy, Adaptive Accountancy. Prior to owning his firm, Brad worked inhouse as an accountant for organisations including the NHS and Press Association.

Brad confesses that in Adaptive Accountancy’s formative years he made all the mistakes a first-time business owner could make. But along the way to finding a business that fits his style, he kept running into the same problem: ‘as my business grows, how do I compete for talent with the big firms?’.

In this episode of the Help to Grow: Management Podcast, Brad challenges the status quo of the 9-to-5 culture and describes how he has implemented a unique and innovative approach to working hours and culture. If you think the four-day week is progressive, you haven’t heard how Brad runs his business.

Alternatively, you can listen to the podcast on Spotify.
