The British Business Bank (BBB) is a Government-owned development bank. Its aim is to the increase the supply of credit to SMEs as well as providing business advice and services.

BBB runs several Government-backed financial support programmes such as Start Up Loans, Recovery Loan Scheme, Growth Guarantee Scheme, and the British Business Bank Referral Scheme.
