Podcast: Levelling the playing field
Guests:
Bayile Adeoti is the founder and Managing Director of Dechomai Ltd, a business that provides stimulation and education to ethnic minority entrepreneurs.
From a young age, Bayile was set on becoming an entrepreneur. Citing the lack of ethnic minority entrepreneurs as a barrier, her father tried to divert her into computing but, determined, Bayile learnt everything she could from working at McDonalds, setting herself on the path to becoming a business owner. She is now on a mission to do the same for others like her and to fulfil her own business dream of becoming a Scottish unicorn.
In this episode of the Help to Grow: Management Podcast, Jonathan speaks to Bayile about her experiences as a Black business owner, the business case for other companies to become more inclusive and diverse, and the need for business leaders to take a step back and get the perspective of an eagle.
