Keynote address: The fundamentals of scaling
Many businesses struggle to successfully scale teams whilst maintaining the same effectiveness and outputs per person as when they were smaller. In this keynote address, former COO of Skyscanner and Chief Entrepreneurial Advisor to the Scottish Government, Mark Logan, introduces the fundamental techniques for ensuring effective organisational scaling while preserving high performance.
According to Mark, many businesses with a brilliant product and/or service are unable to take advantage of their traction because of organisational issues. The failure to recognise and seize opportunities is caused by poor structure, and this keynote will help you recognise and avoid internal implosions.
You will gain insights into:
- The key principles to assess your organisation and recognise potential issues
- Differentiating between relevant and irrelevant scaling recommendations and techniques
- Why productivity per person fails during growth and how to mitigate that
