Nisha Ravat founded Green Tomato in 2020 after a family trip to India showed her the benefits of kerbside grocery shopping, for the consumer and environment. This combined with her desire to combat food wastage led Nisha to launch Leicester’s first emission-free, mobile greengrocery.

While most business owners can commit all of their time to their business, Nisha still juggles Green Tomato with her part-time job as a science teacher, making every minute of the day count.

In this episode of the Help to Grow: Management Podcast, Jonathan talks to Nisha about what it takes to launch a new business from the business planning process through to launch day and her goal to become a Net Positive business.

Alternatively, you can listen to the podcast on Spotify.
